The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud inaugurated his Ramadan program under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Humanitarian Works. On the first day of Ramadan, the mosque received more than 16 thousand prayers over two days. Peace and safety of worshipers throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The program of the mosque, which is headed by Sheikh Nasser Al Qatami, includes a number of guided lectures by a group of virtues from the Council of Senior Scholars and the most prominent faculty members in Saudi universities after Taraweeh prayers.
The mosque serves Saudi-made breakfasts for more than 20,000 fasting people, which will continue throughout Ramadan, as well as the Suhoor meal for more than 10,000 people in the last ten days of Ramadan.
In order to facilitate the arrival of worshipers to the mosque, the Foundation signed an agreement whereby the incoming and outgoing worshipers through Karim will receive a 20% discount on the value of the trip if the vehicle is used as a “collector.” This step is intended to facilitate the worshipers and to reduce the density of vehicles in the surrounding streets.
The Taraweeh prayer at the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Mosque is broadcast live on the Aiyat satellite channel at 8:30 pm while Al-Qa’id prayer is held in the last ten days at 12:30 pm.
The administration of KAUST provided vehicles for the elderly, and the administration of the mosque supports a number of concerned bodies, notably ambulance, traffic, security patrols, civil defense and special task force, and warned the administration of the mosque not to accompany the children in prayer to keep the worshipers humble.
At the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the King Abdullah International Humanitarian Foundation will greet the worshipers at the King Abdullah Mosque with gifts to bring joy to the hearts of children, immediately after Eid al Fitr.
This comes in the interest of the Executive President of the King Abdullah International Humanitarian Foundation HRH Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to provide all the requirements for the performance of rituals throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
It is worth mentioning that the King Abdullah Mosque follows the King Abdullah International Foundation for Humanitarian Works and is located next to the Foundation building at the intersection of Al Orouba Road and Prince Turki I Bin Abdulaziz Road in Al Rahmaniyah district, north of Riyadh.
