The Board of Trustees of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs held its seventh meeting in Jeddah on Sunday under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of the Council. Chairman of the Board, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, CEO of the Foundation, and the rest of the Board of Trustees of His Royal Highness Prince King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him.
The meeting began by welcoming HRH Prince Khalid Bin Abdullah to the members of the Council, noting the importance of the Foundation and its projects as a great personality, and reminding the mission of the Foundation and its objectives, through which it seeks to promote the values and principles that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz To work in his institution to carry out its humanitarian mission and achieve its noble vision, so that it reaches the fruits of society and the world.
The Council reviewed the report of the Foundation’s activities, activities and programs until mid-2017, reviewing a number of humanitarian projects and initiatives that have been achieved during the past period, and the percentage of completion in projects under implementation in several areas. The Council also discussed the King Abdullah Award, the mechanism of its work and the launch plan, and reviewed several humanitarian projects and initiatives under study inside and outside the Kingdom.
The Board of Trustees praised the achievements of the Foundation during the past period, and stressed the need to strengthen the work of the institution with the latest means and techniques and cooperation with local and international organizations to contribute to the dissemination of programs and humanitarian contributions more widely and more influential in areas in need.
