KAHF signs an MoU with SCOT

King Abdullah International Foundation for Humanitarian Activities has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi S to strengthen cooperation in raising awareness about organ donation, reducing waiting lists for organ failure patients, and implementing joint health and humanitarian programs.

The memorandum was signed at the Foundation’s headquarters in Riyadh. The Foundation was represented by its CEO, Mr. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Azzabin, and the Center by its Director General, Dr. Talal bin Turki Al-Qoufi.

This collaboration supports the National Kidney Exchange Program among families, promotes organ donation awareness, enhances logistical support for perfusion devices used in organ preservation, and aims to increase the number of donors -both living and brain-dead- thereby reinforcing the values of humanitarian giving.

The Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation is the national authority responsible for regulating organ donation and transplantation, coordinating healthcare efforts, and developing donation programs to save lives and improve the quality of medical care.
