HRH Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Executive Chairman and Board Member of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received on Monday the Grand Imam of the Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, in the presence of His Highness Prince Badr bin Saud bin Saad bin Mohammed, where he visited the Sheikh of Al-Azhar Mosque Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and the Foundation and briefed on its programs, and toured the exhibition of the photographer King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him.
His Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah welcomed the visit of Sheikh Al-Azhar, noting the close association between Al-Azhar Foundation and Al-Azhar as a project to restore and develop Al-Azhar is one of the projects pursued by Al-Azhar and the attention he received from King Abdullah through his initiative to restore Al-Azhar The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques holds the leadership and the people of Egypt, and the people of the Kingdom to their brothers in Egypt of love and appreciation.
HRH Prince Turki stressed the keenness of the Foundation to cooperate with Al-Azhar and continue to implement the projects it serves to carry out its pioneering role and interest in Muslims around the world and as an Islamic beacon for the entire Islamic world.
During his visit to the King Abdullah Foundation, Sheikh Al-Azhar toured seven projects: social development, dialogue, education, science and technology, health care, economic development, security and peace, praising the great efforts of the late King’s sons to continue his human journey. His life in service by extending a helping hand to the needy and needy in the Arab and Islamic world and the whole world, referring to the Islamic positions of King Abdullah by standing by Al-Azhar in order to play its role in spreading the medium of Islam.
Al-Azhar Sheikh said: “The hands of King Abdullah, may God have mercy on him, had white and former hands on Al-Azhar, whether it was on Al-Azhar in the stages of study before the university or on the university stage, but on the Al-Azhar mosque itself and the Al-Azhar Sheikh. “This is the first and only expansion in the history of Al-Azhar, and what has happened and is happening now is the first expansion.
