King Abdullah International Foundation for Humanitarian Activities has signed a cooperation agreement with the Specialized Sub-Council For Associations of Persons With Disabilities to launch a targeted mental health initiative benefiting orphans and their families across Saudi Arabia.
The agreement, signed by the CEOs of both entities, outlines a comprehensive plan to provide 24,000 therapy sessions, conduct mental health assessments across 60 orphan care associations, and train 100 psychological practitioners.
The signing ceremony, held at the Foundation’s headquarters in Riyadh, also included additional agreements with other specialized entities to strengthen institutional capacity and psychological support frameworks within the sector.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, reflecting joint efforts to deliver impactful, sustainable programs that improve the well-being of vulnerable groups.
