The King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Foundation for Humanitarian Work has strengthened its international cooperation efforts with a delegation from the Central Islamic Council of Thailand on Thursday, 27 November 2025. The meeting, hosted at the Foundation’s headquarters in Riyadh, aimed to explore new avenues for partnership in the fields of education and charitable work, in a way that enhances quality of life and boosts the effectiveness of development programs.
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Fahd Al Angari, CEO of the Foundation, received the Thai delegation, which included prominent figures such as Professor Dr. Ismail Ali, Head of Halal Affairs and former Senator, and Dr. Muhammad Amin Je Noh, Director General of the Thai Institute for Halal Standards. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Khalid Al-Zaben, Acting Director of Humanitarian Programs.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed existing projects and future initiatives in Thailand. Discussions also covered mechanisms to enhance the efficiency of current development programs and to design new initiatives that address local needs, in alignment with the Foundation’s mission and its role in amplifying the impact of humanitarian efforts.
This meeting falls within the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation’s strategy to build a global network of partnerships, leverage its expertise to support Muslim communities, and reaffirm its position as a leading platform for sustainable humanitarian and development work.
